- Get 1 large Sweet Pepper
- Prepare 2 packets Taco seasoning
- Get 1 can Corn
- Take 1 can Pinto beans
- Make ready 1 can black beans
I followed the recipe to a T, the only addition was a handful of chopped onion and green onion each. Combine the tomatoes, cheese, onion, lettuce and ground beef in a large bowl. Add the entire bottle of salad dressing and mix well. Just before serving, add the taco chips, tossing to combine with other ingredients.
Steps to make Taco salad:
- Bring water to a boil and add 1 packet of taco seasoning and rice and bring the temp. down and cook for 20 minutes.
- While rice is cooking chop your inions and sweet peper and add oil to a pan a saute your onions and sweet peppers untill soft.
- When they are done add in you pinto and black beans (make sure there drained). Dont drain the corn and add in the other taco seansoning packet.
- Once rice us done make sure there done then fluff the rice. And make aure the beans are hot. Serve with chips!!
Add the entire bottle of salad dressing and mix well. Just before serving, add the taco chips, tossing to combine with other ingredients. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the black beans and stir gently to combine. Taco salads are often mistakenly considered healthy by virtue of being called a salad.
